Job Opening: Case Western Reserve University (Lecturer Position)

Lecturer, English as a Second Language. The Department of English in the College of Arts and Sciences at Case Western Reserve University invites applications for one or more Full-time Lecturers to teach writing courses to non-native speakers of English in our SAGES program.  (For information about SAGES, see http://www.case.edu/sages).  PhD or appropriate terminal degree (e.g., MATESOL, MATESL) in Second Language Acquisition/TESOL, Linguistics, Writing Studies, English or related field required, along with a strong record of training and experience working with non-native speakers of English.  Duties include teaching six courses per academic year, or the equivalent thereof, which may include instructional responsibilities in the Writing Resource Center.  Initial appointment is for one year beginning August 2014 and may be renewed for up to two additional one-year periods.
